Elizabeth Court is a lively happy care home and very welcoming to residents family members. If I ever have issues concerning my father's care I can approach any staff member it is immediately addressed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Elizabeth Court to anyone looking for a care home or a loved one. When he developed anorexia, fell, and suffered a brain haemorrhage we all felt that his life was pretty much 'over'.

However, he survived, his first words to us after surgery were 'I don't know why they bothered', so he wasn't in a happy place. He has very poor sight, is hard of hearing and cannot walk. We requested that he have breakfast and tea in his room, and lunch in the dining room, which has worked extremely well, he cannot taste much so complains about the food, but we have had to replace all his trousers as his old ones had become 'rather snug.
